Mosquito Halt Repellent Spray

Mosquito Halt Spray for Horses 32 oz kills and repels mosquitoes that may transmit West Nile Virus. Provides both quick knockdown and residual control. Also repels and kills face flies, stable flies, and house flies. Contains two insecticides and two repellents. Also includes aloe, lanolin, and PABA sunscreen. Can be used on horses, ponies, and foals. Lasts up to 14 days.

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Use only in well ventilated area. Hold bottle in upright position when spraying.
For initial treatment, apply daily for 2-3 days. After initial application, retreatment would be appropriate one to two times weekly. Also reapply every time horse is washed or exposed to heavy rain.

Thoroughly brush the horse's coat prior to application, to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses and as a preparation for show grooming, clean the coat with a shampoo. Wait until coat is completely dry before applying spray. Cover entire surface of horse with spray, but avoid getting product into horse's eyes or other sensitive areas such as mouth or nose. Brush coat against grain while spraying to ensure adequate penetration of product.
As a wipe, apply liberally with a clean cloth or sponge. Make sure spray has completely dried before covering with any tack.
Not for use on horses intended for slaughter.

Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Wear protective eyewear (goggles, face shield, or safety glasses). Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Do not smoke while using.

Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Avoid treatment of foals under 6 weeks of age unless prescribed by a veterinarian. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for animals. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe the animal with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant, or nursing animals.

This product is toxic to fish. Do not apply directly to water. Do not apply where runoff is likely to occur.
