Description

Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Injection is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution for intravenous or deep intramuscular use as an antihistaminic agent. Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Injection works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that the body makes during an allergic reaction. 

Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Injection is an antihistamine used for acute inflammatory and allergic conditions in dogs and cats. It can be prescribed for the treatment of allergies, insect bites or stings and other causes of itching. It can also be used for its sedative and antiemetic effects in the treatment of motion sickness and travel anxiety.

How Supplied

Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Injection, USP is supplied as a sterile solution containing 50 mg diphenhydramine hydrochloride in each milliliter of solution with 0.1 mg/mL benzethonium chloride as a germicidal agent. Available in multi-dose 10 mL vials.
