Spectra KC 3 (formerly known as Kennel-Jec 2) is an intranasal vaccine that is a combination of
immunogenic, attenuated strain of canine
adenovirus type 2 (CAV2) and canine
parainfluenza (CPIV) propagated in cell
line tissue cultures with an avirulent live
culture of Bordetella bronchiseptica.
Directions for Use
Rehydrate the vaccine with the accompanying sterile diluent. After rehydration, extract entire contents with the nasal pipette and administer entire dose intranasally. Do not vaccinate puppies under 3 weeks of age. Puppies vaccinated between 3-6 weeks of age should be revaccinated at 6 weeks. Annual revaccination is recommended.
Precautions
For intranasal use in dogs only. Do not vaccinate dog parenterally. Store out of direct sunlight at 35-45° F (2-7° C). Burn containers and all unused contents. A very small percentage of dogs may show sneezing, coughing or nasal discharge for 3-10 days following vaccination. While these are usually temporary symptoms, antibacterial therapy may be indicated. Anaphylactoid reactions may
occur.
