Description

Gabapentin is used for the treatment of seizure disorders. Gabapentin is in a class of drugs called anticonvulsants and may also be used to relieve chronic pain. 

Gabapentin is used for the treatment of Idiopathic epilepsy, pain management, seizures due to neonatal hypoxia. In cats and dogs Gabapentin is used to treat chronic pain particularly of neuropathic origin. 

Gabapentin is also used as an adjunctive therapy for dogs and cats with refractory idiopathic epilepsy. In horses, Gabapentin may be used to control seizures in foals suffering from hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.

Our beloved pets often require customized dosing that is not available in commercial products.  Additionally, even if the correct strengths are available, sometimes the available products are not palatable for our furry friends.  These challenges are what drove us to create XPress Tabs.

XPress Tabs, exclusively available at Heartland Veterinary Supply and Pharmacy, are compounded into a delicious Rotisserie Chicken flavor for dogs and a specialized flavor for cats called CatCraze that your cat will love.

XPress Tabs are double-scored and can easily be broken into ½ and ¼ tablets by hand if needed.

XPress Tabs can be stored at room temperature. Due to changes in Compounding Guidelines, please limit your purchase to no more than a 60 days supply.
