• Equine POTOMAVAC™ provides protection against the potentially fatal equine disease Potomac horse fever (PHF).
• Shown to be 100% effective in protecting against mortality and 86% effective against the clinical disease itself,* Equine POTOMAVAC can be administered to healthy horses 3 months of age and older and is even safe enough for use in pregnant mares.**

EQUINE POTOMAVAC^® is a liquid suspension of inactivated Ehrlichia risticii. Safety and efficacy of this product have been demonstrated in controlled vaccination challenge tests and in thorough field evaluations.

Recommended for the vaccination of healthy horses as an aid in the prevention of Potomac Horse Fever (equine monocytic ehrlichiosis) caused by E. risticii.

Dosage

• For primary vaccination, aseptically inject 1 mL (1 dose) intramuscularly into healthy horses 3 months of age or older.
• Revaccinate with a second 1 mL dose 3 to 4 weeks later.
• Revaccinate annually with a single 1 mL dose.
