Description

Prednisolone, like methylprednisolone, is a potent anti-inflammatory steroid. Prednisolone and methylprednisolone have a greater anti-inflammatory potency and less tendency to induce sodium and water retention than the older corticoids, cortisone and hydrocortisone.

Prednisolone is used to treat many of conditions in different pets. The broad uses include: replacement therapy for Addison's disease, an anti-inflammatory, an immune suppressant, and an antineoplastic (cancer treatment).

Handling of your Soft Chew Tabs

This compounded prescription does not need to be refrigerated and should be stored at room temperature

This compounded prescription contains Soft Chewable Tabs that could melt at extreme high temperatures. Be careful that the tablets are not exposed to temperatures above 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
